haha. sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo one darn week is gone. oh man. oh shit! 2 weeks left. studies untouched. i tried okay.... but it's always falling asleep. at home sleep. in the library also sleep.

anyway! this whole week. what have i done. k box, iceskating, studying at esplanade library, tent washing, yu min's house, piano lessons, small outings, west mall esplanade west mall west mall west mall JE. okay that's all i remember. met up with a few good old friends. MISS YOU PEOPLE. sigh.

and then............. where's the "read newspaper everyday", "read one GP article everyday", "go jogging", "exercise at home". ARGH. and i've been snacking a lot. i've to stop!!!! that time was 3 mcflurries in 4 days. after that was eating all sorts of crap. and fast food. long john silver a million times.

next week onwards. NO JUNK FOOD. READ NEWSPAPER. GO JOGGING. PRACTISE PIANO HARD. STUDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh my god my teacher is upgrading me to grade 4! so cool can can can can can. i know it's gonna be tough. but well................. i've got the power!

hahaha. hey. oh man i feel like typing out everything that happened during LTC and the mt ophir trip. but shiiiiiiittt still got gp essay to do.. gotta hand it up tomorrow. SIAN. but oh well.

anyway... this 1 week was terribly awesome. haha. first was the LTC.

i definitely had great fun. learnt quite a lot of stuffs. like being a better leader, a better person, accepting others.. bla bla.. it lasted for 4 days.. had it in jalan bahtera. nice place. with quite comfortable sleeping areas and nice toilets. so.. first day was like.. we met in the trophy room in school.. briefing and stuff.. then went to east coast park to cycle! hahahaha. was quite alright. actually quite boring.. but with wei hao and yu da in our group.. singing and singing.. definitely a good source of entertainment.. so we cycled to the end and back.. anyway in my group! group 2! geok hian, clarice, xiuhui, wei hao and yu da! plus me. hahahaha. got to know them so much more during this camp. which is really wonderful. and then jesse and amos and liping as our group advisors.. sooooo nice as well. count my lucky stars. there were 4 goups anyway. haha. so after the cycling.. we made our way to jalan bahtera.. by that time it was already at night.. then dinner and stuff.. family time.. and then sleep!

second day.. HIGH ELEMENTS. haha. was super looking forward to it. loving heights la i.. haha. so.. we learnt about wearing the harnesses and helmets.. plus belaying techniques.. kelvin was teaching us.. then we got to practise for a while. after that.. the real thing started. each group to one station.. then one of us in our group had to teach the rest on how to climb the thing.. i only got to try 2 of the stations! sadness. one was broken bridge, and the rock wall thing. super fun. haha. during that rock wall one, i had to like stop mid way, and shout " wo shi hua ren!" for everyone to hear. hahahahahahhahahaha. so they loled. i looked like a malay, so that was my forfeit. haha. anyway.. i lead mine quite well i guess.. according to amos. no elaboration. :( no time la. hahaha. after this activity was...... knot tying! nothing much, just learnt how to tie the various knots. 8 of them i think. then after that.. raft building.. group 1 and 2 combined while 3 and 4 combined. each group built one raft. my group... hahahah quite unsuccessful.. didnt have a proper plan.. so didnt built a good one.. then we made our way to the sea. human sushi!!!! ahahahahhahahahha oh my god super duper fun! like, form two rows, face each other, grab hands and form a dunno-whats-it-called. then pass the person and get dunked at the end. HEHE. loved that. haha. rafting competition after that. then kayaking! fun fun fun fun fun. i partnered with geok. and we kayaked together. haha. damn cool. then dinner. proposal writing lecture. writing a night cycling proposal. family time. sleep!

3rd day! team building games for the whole day. had fun playing them. and had many things to learn from my peers leading the station game. many many many. plus group 2 and 4 combined to play together, so... had a very special person around all the time. lol. anyway. yeah.. when it was my turn to lead the group for my game "acid river", super scared and stressed out. but turned out good after all. hahahaa i'm glad.. plus it's him who was accessing me! oh my. double joy. yeah.. then geok hian said it was my game tt really bonded the group together. thanks loads.. really really encouraging.. hahahahaha.

after all these games, EGG AUCTION! hahahahah. super funny! chang dee and amos were the emcees again. anyway my group won the "thanks for your effort" price LOL. obviously lost terribly. haha. each group was suppose to build an egg catcher.. catch the egg thrown from like the second floor. haha. before that had to auction for the items we want to use to build this dumb thing. and....... we didnt manage to get what we want! so we made do with what we had. hahahaha. failure big time. but it's alright! moments spent with my team mates count more. after that. dinner, proposal presentation, showed us last year's night cycling proposal done by the j2s.. family time.. then slept! it was the last night. felt quite she bu de.. aww.

last day.. had team building games again.. then area cleaning.. cleaned the toilets and stuff.. packed our bags. had our last lunch, then set off, back to school. did some stall checks. family time then home. at night had odac outing! haha. went to eat at seoul garden. bought our food for mount ophir too. so much fun. then geok wei hao and me went to chit chat at macs.

anyway.......... this whole camp. so much to learn and reflect on. one most important thing is that i've become a more confident person. i should really constantly tell myself that there is nothing to fear. NOTHING. and that i've got a whole lot to prove about myself. haha.

and! mount ophir!! oh man.. so lazy to elaborate on stuffs. i just realised i love climbing mountains. cause i love heights. and it goes on higher and higher. so it was like a four day thing. morning met in tanjong pagar railway station. took the train to malaysia. then took bus to the mountain. started climbing to checkpoint 4. camped there for the night. 2nd day went up to the summit. was a nice place! though the view was not very wow. but still, it's the summit! going up was physically tiring. going down was super not tiring at all, but damn dangerous. tricky. and i love it. hahahahah. there was this part.... OH MY GOD. had to climb up this slanted piece of rock using the ropes. halfway turn back and look. it's really, screams! the view was damn nice!!! and you will feel like you're on top of the world. hahahaha. i enjoyed that part the most most most most most. anyway.. at the summit. we took lots and lots of pictures. and had lunch. and

hehehhehehehe. and then went back all the way down to our base camp. rested for the night. next day went back down to the foot. took bus back. had lunch. walked to a hotel. checked in. had a great shower. dinner and shopping at night. had an enjoyable night with some of the girls. and guys. haha. slept and next morning train and reached singapore.

ahhahaha went home and rushed to BBSS. alumni performance. 2oth anniversary. was alright la.. the food was great. ahhaha. anyway i'm so sleepy now. still have to do compo. SHIT. OUT. LOUD.

the rugby match just now.. was a blast!!! and SA won!!!!! 15 to 10!!! oh my oh my oh my. we were like losing at first. then the last 10 mins or so. they scored twice! oh my god, the atmosphere then, really unbelievable. lol. immediately after the last score, all of us SA supporters ran down to the field to cheer for the rugby guys. they really did everyone proud!!! was so touching. all the cheering.

it was against RJ anyway. hahahahha.

hahahahhahahahahhaha odac camp was AWESOME! hahaha. it was the most real camp i've ever had. and yeah i really enjoyed it. the only worry i have after it is...dunno i will be selected or not.

haha. first day! we assembled in G101 at 7 pm. had briefing and stuff.. then first activity is obstacle course. hahaha. i thought it was some physically challenging stations.. but then it was actually games. haha. my group leaders were chang dee, amos and choo qi. they're all great! nice people. and can crap with them. then yeah.. my group mates! hahahaha. love them la...

valerie. wei hao. cheryl. clarissa. ee ling. geok hian. joshua. jason. maurice. and me. group 3!!!! hahahaha. we rock man.

then.. later at night had tent pitching. which was quite sucky. unsuccessful. poles broke. strings snapped. but in the end we managed to pitch. the last group to finish anyway. haha. had group discussion after that with the leaders.. we had lots of room to improve, they said.

second day went to pulau ubin! i was really excited actually. haha. whole day we did orienteering, campfire night, solo night walk, dinner cooking. lazy to elaborate.. hahaha.. but the solo nightwalk was really coooooooooool. not suppose to use a torchlight. and just follow the lightstick trails. which were so far apart. so it's like, you walk past one lightstick. and just continue to walk straight in the darkness and hope to see another light stick. haha. damn dark. and weird sounds. but since they're from animals, not scary la. haha. then i THOUGHT i saw stuffs. you know, black patches. like 2 figures standing on each side of the road. i just walked past and tried not to care. hahahahhaa. i'm so brave can. lol. then at the end 2 seniors showed me my spot to sleep. it was quite a nice big space. got sea view, can see the stars. nice! still abit scary though. hoping not to hear sounds like footsteps or voices. so... slept until 3 am.. then seniors came to wake us up. walked all the way back to the campsite. next morning ah.. our seniors then told us we were actually at the cemetary area. oh my god! i would have died if i saw a tombstone. damn lucky.

oh yeah.. anyway our campsite was on the beach.. had our campfire there. was fun! i think our group was the highest. danced and sang vigorously and loudly. lol. so fun! plus chang dee and amos were the emcees. haha. they damn cute la! and then orienteering for the whole afternoon. walked like to and fro the island. and it's walking fast. so we sweat like crazy. haha. it was fun. but having the first aid scenarios. i kinda revising so i didnt know what to do. most of us didnt know. only weihao know everything. haha. then scolded by seniors. every time after every scenario. oh man. but after a while it was alright. then had another group discussion. this time we were more chatty.. haha. had some good laughs. we were ask to talk about someone else in the group. hahaha. then valerie and geok hian say their first impression of me was like cold, dao, unfriendly, soft-spoken. lol. aiya.. then we talked about some other fun stuffs. cooked dinner! wasnt as great as we wanted, cause started to drizzle! then campfire night. haha.

3rd day! had mass drill for hornet attack. wa lao eh that one! evacuation of casualties over quite a distance. damn tiring. i also kena scolded for smiling. cute.

came back to singapore... washed tents. debrief. another group discussion. cryable! we were to talk about feelings and stuff. draw pictures to express our thoughts and experiences.. everyone just mentioned its the bond and people around you that make the camp count.. giving you the stength to overcome the obstacles. sigh.... damn touching. after that had a little chat with the girls.. then home..

love all of them la!!!! oh my god. this camp.. really memorable.

haha. after i came home.. unpacked.. bathe.. did housework (cause daddy not in singapore). haha. went out to meet kelvin and meifung. we had a good time together.. went to marina square eat at long john.. esplanade rooftop. that place, never fails to make me feel at peace. lol. romantic la! then so nice view. then went to plaza sing walked around.. played arcade. quite fun la.. hahaha. should go out with them often. then went back home. fell asleep on the sofa.

i've got a cat now! stray one.. and my sis just tied a red strap around its neck. so damn cute. it's black anyway. i think it likes our home now. coming here everyday. not willing to go out. hahahahhaa. cats rock! rock!
